Haven't heard that one yet. I actually learned to like Kurt because he seems to have matured a bit. Now Kyle is the one that needs to be fired.

Pennzoil doesn't want a loose cannon, and sponsors are too dear to piss off.............bye bye trouble maker!
No top line drivers look to be currently available, so this might be a good opportunity for David Ragan.

I think the radio talk from Kurt was probably one reason for his demise from Penske... When the little spoiled snot gets on the radio during a race and starts calling the crew chief and the crew a bunch of idiots because they can't make "his" car work right I'd like to reach in the car and slap him!!! Didn't figure Mr. Penske would tolerate it too much longer, his emphasis has always been that it takes the entire team to win or lose a race and that no one individual should take the credit or the blame for the results.
Personally, I'd like to see both Kurt and Kyle just sit out a year because nobody would give them a ride..... Maybe if and when they come back they might have done some attitude adjustment!!! Nobody is so good that they're indispensable to a race team!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Either that one or his last outrage to the member of the press (tv) that was caught on someones video and showwed up on U-tube...
Both those guys are good, no denying that.. but they get so out of control they become loose cannons and heaven help you if you're in the way! Shame really, so much talent....

I haven't watched races all year, just kind of read about them afterwards and never heard about this stuff either so am not as surprised now as I was earlier.

The reference to Gibbs regards Kyle getting another message that bad behavior has consequences, especially when it comes to sponsor support, and this one has the benefit of hitting closer to home. Pennz had the juice to pull a high rated driver from a blue chip sponsor (pun intended), and then a year or so later give him the boot. Image matters.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Ok, I think that I get it. You are talking about pulling Kurt from the 2, putting him in the 22 and then letting him go. Then you are saying that Gibbs might think about doing the same to Kyle.
Per Nascar.com, Kurt is out. Where do you think he will land?Last edited by Bug; 12-05-2011 at 09:25 PM.

Don't need to send him that far. There's a few fellas here that'll help him with a "re-training" program! That is, if the governing body and sponsers would look the other way for a spell! 8-)
Thank you Roger. .
