Generally I judge winter's arrival by when the swamp in the back 40 freezes as well as the reservoir I pass on the way to the dump. Neither even have shoreline anchor ice. It rained last night and the temps are in the 40's today with tomorrow predicted the coolest by the two weather sites I look at with the next 10 days in the high 30s to low 40s. Sure makes me happy that a bum knee made me quit skiing a few years ago - and the $$$ it hasn't cost. Even my lawn could stand mowing as it's still green and growing
I do have both of the snow blowers ready to roar, just in case and the 4x4 capabilities on my truck checked out .............. ;-}Dave W

Kids in the back seat may cause accidents, accidents in the back seat may cause kids, so no back seat, no accidents...!
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
