Very cool ride; looks like a lot of quality work has been put into it.

Here are the after pictures of the engine and here is a link to the cam I went ahead and decided to run. I went with Isky because of their good reputation and with all these flat tappet cam problems now with poor oil quality and low zinc, I figured they would be the best to go with and spend the extra money. The cam does not really match my gear ratio and trans combo but I will probably swap out the 200-4R with a TH350 and throw the 200-4R into my El Camino instead next winter. I figured I can down shift and get on it into the RPM range and also the specs will help with the low compression the engine has (84 Corvette SBC) Pretty much all stock except the cam, new valve seals, checked the bottom end and bearings which all checked out great (engine had less than 80,000 miles too), etc. It's not a race car or anything, just something to cruise around on the weekends and hopefully take on long highway drives. The valve covers, air cleaner and oil pan are all from Southern Rods. The quality is not bad at all and the price you cannot beat, especially since I get a shop discount. No water pump, fuel pump or carb yet but will get to that this coming week.

By the way, the engine is Ford Red and the intake is an old Holley Street Dominator that I ground the names off of to look like an old Chevy GM Performance intake which I was told this Holley was based off of. Not sure what carb I will be running but probably for now just a Holley or Edelbrock Performer 600cfm until I figure out what will work best.www.streamlineautocare.com
