the end of one bad year for me 2011

I had one bad year it started in mid january of 2011 a creditor from 7 years ago sued me I got served court papers when i got to a store that i worked at. The reason i didnt pay. A guy i use to do carpeting for didnt pay me for a bunch of houses i had put carpet in. so He owed $25.000 just in carpeting long storiy short the company i got the carpet from i also worked for kept my pay check for 6 months to pay for the carpet. Than in march another credtor from back than came after me and put leans on my cars Than in may the best dog i ever had past away he was like my kid.In july my 63 comet caught fire so i had to fix the damages.Than sept the engine blew in the comet didnt mater much cause i was building a new one other than i was going to sell the old engine but now it scrap. On dec 12 my best friend past away at 29 years old me and him was brothers i called his mother(mom) and he called my mother (mom) me and him grew up to getter if we didnt see each other we talked on the phone His life insurance had a 2 year clause. And his family did not have enough money to pay for his funeral so i helped them pay for it.I was happy to help. Now my car is on the back burner again but that ok. I miss my friend.now 3 days ago my trans in my work van is sliping like crazy and today I made my lasy payment to the creditor That sued me so hopefully that will be the end of one bad year this was just some of the stuff that happen in 2011. SO MAY YOUR 2012 BE GREAT I WISH WEATH, HEALTH AND HAPPINESS FOR EVERONE.

Wow, that's a run of problems. Hopefully you put liens on the guy's houses - doesn't help immediately, but eventually you get your money. Wishing you a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year in 2012, with opportunity to bring your project to a front burner on high power.

I'd put a mechanics lean on his property.(home) you won't get anything till he sells it but at least you'll get some of it back Good luck in the new year

May be too late after 7 to 8 years - not sure if there's any time limit on slimy cheats.

Well, the old saying "If it doesn't kill you it'll make you stronger" applies here. I'm also a firm believer in the "what comes around, goes around" philosophy. Years ago I was all wrapped up in the pursuit of the almighty dollar. Health issues, family issues, and personal experiences forced me to reassess my priorities....and I've been a much more content person since. These days I've got enough coin to keep the lights on and buy a few parts, and I've been around long enough to see a lot of the Almighty Dollar Worshipping crowd continue to live their greedy selfish lives and become very miserable people... I had a number of people cheat me out of big $$$$$, and I've watched those same people become victims of someone who plays the same game only is much better at it take them to the cleaners. Granted it didn't put any money back in my pocket, but I'm still happily building Hot Rods and hangin' out with my Grandkids while they're out looking for someone else to cheat, and paranoid as heck that someone is going to cheat them......I think I won!!!! I do offer you my condolences for losing your best friend and your dog, that's tough. Here's hoping 2012 is nothing but good for you Slepp!!!
