RIP-- T. C. Lemons
Well, there goes another of the legends. TC Lemons, Garlit's crew chief and best friend since the late 50's...
Here's a link to some of the things his friends said about him;
FeaturesYesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I heard about it a few days ago----I met TC for the first time around March 1971 at Bakersfield where we raced them with the then new RED 14---Garlits was so far over staged that the light went out and Ramsey thought that Don would relight--so he actually didn't even leave until Garlits had left and there wasn't a RED---trying to chase him down Ramsey did set track record and low et---I still have that big triangular throphy and the matching one for winning is in Garlits museum--A couple years ago we were down there and TC and I had a very good visit and memories in front of that throphy--he said that there were lots of throphies they got and didn't even take them from the track with them but that one they did---I know Don misses him and so do I-------we always have a good visit when our paths crossed
