That's a very generalized statement......Some folks are in fact totally incapable of taking care of themselves and are unable to make decisions through no fault of their own. The rest of us need to take part of the responsibility to help these people. There are a great many people who do need someone to assist them in matters of daily living. These folks are not the problem, the problem is those who abuse the system, and our own governments inability to separate those who have legitimate problems, and those who are just scamming the system for everything they can get. I know many very fine people who can't make it through a day without assistance, and would have died living in the street were it not for society taking an interest in their well being.
Please, not everyone receiving assistance from social programs is not just some lazy low life stealing your money......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
