Thread: Craigslist notice??.

I copied and pasted the first page of the Rochester Craigslist.There is a notice on the upper right corner saying stop Sopa and Pipa.I have no idea what that is.Anyone know??

Did you click the link, "Find out why, and how you can help put a stop to this madness before it's too late!" at the bottom of that notice? Seems to be pretty well explained, if one wants to take time to read the whole diatribe.

If that dosn't work do a yahoo or google search its all there for the reading

Educate yourself on this, it can and will effect EVERYTHING that is put on the internet.

I do like the thought "see if it doesn't happen." Correct me if I am wrong but we didn't want health care, we can see where that got us.

The real question is, how did we end up with a bunch of Senators and Representatives who are so out of touch that they don't know, or just don't care about what the people who sent them there want done!!!!!

I am willing to bet that your government and Aussies Labor government run along the same lines,too..Liberal/Labor,,means the greens get their foot in the door too..We got rid of our Labor government,,and the leader,Helen Clark,is now creating havoc in the UN..THAT cow wanted to turn our country into a southern China..WE wont go there..

Sign the petition and be heard. It even allows us Canucks to sign.

Oh I can answer that one, to many folks looking for someone to take care of them. Do not know how to be individuals, unable to make decisions, need to be told when to come in out of the rain. Just name a few, I am very glad I am the age I am.

That's a very generalized statement......Some folks are in fact totally incapable of taking care of themselves and are unable to make decisions through no fault of their own. The rest of us need to take part of the responsibility to help these people. There are a great many people who do need someone to assist them in matters of daily living. These folks are not the problem, the problem is those who abuse the system, and our own governments inability to separate those who have legitimate problems, and those who are just scamming the system for everything they can get. I know many very fine people who can't make it through a day without assistance, and would have died living in the street were it not for society taking an interest in their well being.

Please, not everyone receiving assistance from social programs is not just some lazy low life stealing your money......
