Just talked to a guy who is at BJ this week....the guy knows his stuff and he says that the quality of the cars is up this year as compared to the last two years.......I will wait to see. So far, most of the stuff has been pretty lame with mixed themes on the cars, tires outside of the fenders by as much as 1.5 inches, stupid stuffed animals and kids toys, silly signs on trucks, flat chested models, and awful paint choices. It can only get better.

They've got the Charity car on now, wild looking Fairlane that was built specifically for this auction, proceeds to disabled Vets....$1 mil....
Ron Pratt paid $700K for the car when it was built!!!!
Maybe a lot of these cars are out of our price range, but so is the amount of $$$$$$$ they give to worthwhile causes!!!!
Thanks Ron Pratt, and thanks Barrett-Jackson, lots of us Vets appreciate this
PS---Ron Pratt is a Vietnam Vet.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

they left the trunk unlocked on the gt convert and it sprung open. bounced about 4 times. then the old fool with the sold stickers slammed every door he touched. the black 34 on sat was almost pushed over the guy trying to close the hood.
geeze where did they come up with this crew.

My personal opinion is the money is STUPID! I can't believe what these people are willing to pay for some of these cars...

they SET the price of collector cars. that is what auctions are for. besides it's business , most are museums or serious collections .
You've not been around here for a while, Charlie, but when you were you had GREAT projects!! Happy Birthday!!
