Hey!! Just a though because I know little about computers(plus other things),could someone hack into our user name and post without us knowing? The ones that are on alot will notice but what about the ones that don't post or have left the site!! How about someones kids having fun(to them)using there parents username knowing they don't use the site anymore! My one thought for the day! Pete

Somebody could hack your system, but I seriously doubt that they're going to get on forums posing as another. They're looking for your ID, credit info, etc to use for personal gain. Now your kids getting on your computer and posting as you? That could happen easily if you don't sign out every time you're done for the night. CHR is generally on and active on my laptop, so I guess I could start blaming my wife or the dog for anything that I want to deny?

I can look at my local politicians plus do participate in politics a great deal in my own town and county, so when it starts to get contentious here, I can go elsewhere. This thread IMO, gone to the point of no longer being fun with positive opinions, one way or another. So guys, have at it.

As far as Pete(prpmmp) and by implication, Pepi (which I doubt) being drunks - not sure that is what I would like to be known as and a less then great statement of personal pride.

Shine-you keep blaming the current administration which once again inhered the mess.That and two wars that I believe under a Republican leadership would still be aimlessly continuing.

You have to keep in mind the history I have said about the Republicans where they haven had anyone good for a longtime and not candidates just by default.

if you think it's all bush's fault fine. but it is what obama wants to do that i dislike. i like nothing that the man has proposed or did. he has had 3 1/2 years to show something positive which he has not. all he does is blame it on bush and continue spending and expanding entitlements . he has not done anything to help the economy . and dont tell me how he needs another 4 years to fix it. he had his chance and has not done anything he promised. he needs to go . i dont now if romney can produce or not but i know obama cant and wont. he has been an embarrassment to our country and emboldened our enemies world wide. the reason a term is 4 years is that has been deemed long enough to prove you can handle the job. unfortunately obama has proven he lacks the leadership quality's to get it done pure and simple. if romney does not produce he's gone in 4 .

To "vote" someone else in office just because.............and that someone else isn't a sure bet,is bad logic.
This statement is going to get people to post,but if you think neither choice are good ones,then don't vote.
We are quick to lay blame,but it is a fact the office of president can't all on his own do what you are suggesting is the result of "the mess" we are in. It takes congress to do that.
The concept of every man is responsible for his own destiny is not really how it works.Talk to Pat or Jerry or me for that matter,to open and run a business it takes more than hard work.Bottom line it takes money.It is like having a huge order and not the machines,labor,or raw materials to fill the order.Who limits that success??. Really doesn't take that much of a imagination to conclude that. To say Obama isn't for the small business and that is why we can't elevate ourselfs just doesn't make sense. It is been money the issue for alot longer than Obama has been in office. A system of have and have nots.

Bob Rich of Rich products told me once it takes a hell of lot money to maintain his position as a multi millionaire because what people expect him to do and much of that he really didn't care about.

As far as business goes in 94 at 50 I started a construction business I made good money paid my bills and am now retired. There was no body with there hand out offering me money to build my business... I worked for it Hell I retired in 06 and am still getting call and working for people I worked for back then. when you say "Congress", you are referring to the now republican control right? How about this. The economy was great for 6 of the 8 years Bush served. In 2006 a Democratic congress was elected, Nancy and Harry took over and it went down from there and at the time had a 29% approval, and dipped to 14% in late 2008.. Bush actually wanted to fix Fannie and Freddie in 2003, Democrats ( Barny Frank specifically ) opposed it because they saw no threat. When Fannie and Freddy fell, that set off the economy collapse. Not calling that the cause of the Economic collapse, but it didn't help.
