Think about it: it's easy to afford a nice ride when you don't have to pay for rent or food.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

in 1996 congress newt was speaker of the house changed the welfare sys. one of those changes was to qualify for welfare you had to register with the employment office and look for a job and it has made a difference over the years they had to twist clintons arm to sign but to his credit he signed it well last july with an executive order potus wiped that out why because the unemployment numbers only count people who are looking for work he knew he couldn't get the unemployment below 8% buy election time he calculated that it would change the # in October and it did so now he runs around campaigning that he got it down to under 8% but if you add those people back in it's 8.4% just what all the economist said it would be in august so that's how Chicago politics work btw you want to see welfare in action come to California we have the most liberal sys in the country we have about 8% of the population but 35% of the welfare in the country......tedLast edited by ted dehaan; 10-28-2012 at 05:58 PM.

Ted,
Love your phone seen behind the bird. Is it a decoration or does it actually work?

Roger - I just saw today's photo about the time you posted and above. Not nice duty on a day like today.
As far as Upstate NY - so far, no rain, a bit breezy and all the leaves are back that I blew into the woods on Friday/Saturday The sun actually peeked through for about 2 minutes - but I suspect that's the last time we'll see it before the weekendDave W

My sister is in Shippensburg, PA, and they are getting rain now, but no big winds yet which are expected soon. She's hoping for the power and water to remain on, which is their biggest worry.Roger

I've been looking at where the storm is coming ashore in NJ - exactly where my daughter Kim, GC and hubby live. They seem to get the worst - from hurricanes, hot weather, bodies from crashing airplanes in their yard .....Dave W

Expecting gusts in the 60s tonight, here in No. VA. No power at home but I'm on duty at our firehouse where the V8 generator is chugging away.
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
