This is not in line with subjects that are currently appearing in this thread, but I'm curious about something.

On Oct.1 a good friend sent me an email that contained a link to the "Obama 2016" video. My wife and I were able to see the movie in its entirety. Jane suggested that if we wanted to forward it we should do so quickly because it is certain to be taken off the internet.

We forwarded it to maybe two dozen people. A few got it but most of them only got a bunch of advertisements.

I understand copyright protection and I'm all for it, but who has the authority to "pull the plug" so to speak, and how do they do it? Maybe the producers? However it is done, it happened quickly and effectively.
