    Yeah Barb,
It's just you. Actually that Camry may be more "American Made" than a Chevy or Ford, given the world economy we're in....

Doesn't bother me, or the people at the plant in Georgetown, Ky where the Camray's are built!!!!!

GEORGETOWN, KENTUCKY, (March 4, 2011) — Toyota today announced plans to export U.S.-assembled Camry sedans to its distributor in South Korea. Camry exports to South Korea are initially forecasted at approximately 6,000 units annually.

These Camry vehicles will be produced by team members at Toyota’s manufacturing plant in Georgetown, Ky. The plant is Toyota’s largest manufacturing facility outside of Japan, employing nearly 7,000 team members directly and creating nearly 20,000 additional jobs with vendors and suppliers in Kentucky and other states.

Lots of good paying jobs there!!!!!

Frightening - but true but would have preferred an AMERICAN nameplate though

I'll bet those 7,000 people that work there in Ky. were proud to see it there!!!! At least someone in this country is growing and hiring----even if it's a Japanese nameplate----probably no more or no less parts made outside the US then on any other brand!!!!!!

If the US car companies would have built what customers wanted instead of trying to cram a bunch of ill handling, gas guzzling junk down our throats it never would have happened!!!!! Probably a lot of unemployed ex big 3 employees in the Detroit area wish that Toyota would have built the new plant there!!!!!!

Got to be the strangest wreck ever!!!! Under caution there's a jet dryer blowing junk off the track, Montoya's car breaks and runs into the back of it, huge fire from the 200 gals of jet fuel in the track dryer!!!!! Weird, all under caution.....

That wasn't exactly what I meant by "fire away"......................................

That asphalt surface has got to be too hurt to use again tonight..............sad way for the race to have to end if it does.

Yeah, and two of my 4 guys I called showed they could move to the front almost at will just before this fubar..............
They seem to think the track is good enough to run on, but we'll see once 30 some cars pound on it for a few laps going into that turn.

Yeah, the "talkin' heads" were saying that the fire was "...actually only the vapors above the jet fuel, and not the liquid fuel itself..." as if that's something new?? That's the only way anything burns, but the heat of combustion is not staying above the surface. With time, and that fire burned for a while, the heat starts vaporizing the surface, too. It will be interesting to see if it continues to hold up, like you say, Bob. Listening to these guys "fill dead air" is almost painful
