How about a little ride in the country

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

I have seen that a couple of times now but it never gets old! LOL... I was just wondering how many sets of tires and rims they used just in practice? 8-)

Amazing what that guy can do in an Escort! Just keeps that thing on the rev limiter, and flat does away with some tires!!!!!

Yeah, like Mike I've watched it before but it's a cool video. Just noticed this time that as he gets onto the track for the first time he kisses the wall with the RR, but the frame changes quickly to minimize the "look". Quite a driver! Like the "Jim Connor" note, too....

In the note I got with the link it said he crashed 3 times before he made a complete run. I noticed he kissed the wall too, and left a black mark on it. Dave I guess when you have 660 hp, it doesn't matter if it's in an Escort! :-) It also looks like he has a hand brake and uses the paddle shifter at the wheel. Sure gets to 6th gear fast.
Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

I used to have a little Escort Wagon, I believe it was rated just a tad under that 650hp level.....Didn't have a paddle shifter either. Maybe it was still just an option for the wagons?????

PS--Last time I priced a sequential transmission with paddle shifter, prices started at about $27,000.00--Guess it will have to remain an option for me!!!!
