She's "good" for Nascar as she brought over some fans. She can drive at speed that's for sure, is she capable of winning? I'd say she has the right equipment, don't know if the crew has "gelled", I think for now she'll be an also ran. I don't think anyone will team up with her - unless a team mate - so there are her chances. Her boss (smoke) may push her to the front but I don't know if he's big enough to help her win?

NA$CAR needs her right now. They are suffering the crummy economy as are other sports venues. Now will she do well - she has run at or near the front several times before fading back for one reason or another. She has taken some licks at the bumper of idiots like Keselowski, but her last run, she did seem to give it right back now that she has a bit more of a comfort zone in that big 3400# car. Physically, is she able, even with power steering and great brakes on these cars - that is yet to be determined - she is only about 5'2" tall and 100 pounds. She does have the right mentality for winning though!!Dave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

I think she is able and qualified to win any race. With the 500 this weekend, none of it really matters because I think it is going to be a survivor's race. The owners might as well get out hundred dollar bills and start burning them because it is going to seem like that if last Saturday night any indication.

She appears to be mentally tough enough, just a matter of whether her skills cross over sufficiently. It never seemed to work for Hornish, Kinser, and others who did well in other venues, but she may pull it off.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

A man was watching his wife as she prepared to fry sausages in a pan. He noticed that before placing the sausages in the pan, she always cut off both ends, threw them away, and cooked only the middle...
