I think they made a distintion years ago about that--and the wheels do stay in contact on these vehicles, they just don't propell the vehicle forward, but are used for braking---
And there was a distinction between 3 and 4 wheel vehicles also

they should have flaps on them to reverse the air flow. to stop or slow down.. On second thought that may put them airbornCharlie

Hey Jerry.Maybe if you update your resume you could get a ride with someone needing a driver to break a record.The worst they could do is say no.

Charlie--actual they do use speed brakes that extend from the fuselage--and the brakes are electro magnets that extaend from the body out toward the wheelsand 27/? can generate 1500+ hp braking force per wheel--
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
