Nah,,just a grasskhana, which is bound to be held..just with a Kiwi twist..Last year the swines hooked up an electric fence which the competitors had to hook up and unhook the ''gate'' before they could continue.. I gave my buddy a pair of thick leather gloves to use,,and he got a quick splash with a bucket of water to make sure he felt it... Shocking stuff... Yup,still here,,going soon..Will get pix..Micah 6:8

Back from Florida
Just got back from Florida this evening. Was in Orlando, went to the the Speed World drag strip one day. Also met my brother and one of our buddies and went to Daytona and saw the Gator 200 dual races and that same evening went up to a World of Outlaws dirt track..... that was an exciding race.
Found a new job if I ever need it..... see picture

Spent the day finishing fabrication of some simple traction bars for my '53. Was the first real use of my welder. Had not tried flux core before, welds came out sturdy but not as pretty as I would have liked. Got everything fitted, now need to take it all apart for paint. I have been taking pictures, once it is all done I will post them. All in all a good day. Tomorrow is my wife's birthday, we are going to see Elvin Bishop and his band at an afternoon show at a local club. Elvin always throws a great party:

Well it's already another weekend since this started Dave, but I'm off this weekend! Trying to get the house ready, before leaving on Wednesday for Flaggstaff for a week. Had an old buddy drop in yesterday for lunch which lead to a few strong Pale ales, and no further work! Did manage the usual fun stuff of laundry and mowing the lawn, before he got here, but was excited to have today to myself to try and work on the truck, until the rain showed up, after three months of hiding. I guess it's planning to stick around until we get back from Arizona! It's a welcome relief to get some, it's been a record dry winter here and up in the sierras.
Bob that's a nice looking pile of "junk" you got!
Tom - great to see you on here too. How's the old goldwing running? Or the Model T?" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
