Hurry up with those pics Robin!
I'm impatient to see them!
We had the option of two runs last weekend; Mangaweka (always a fun event,) with NSRA, and the local one, Opunake (that too is always fun,) with NZHRA.
So She Who Must Be Obeyed said that we're going to Rotorua for her neice's birthday.
Sigh.
Oh well.
I suppose family must always come first.
We met some of the rods from Rotorua, heading to Opunake, at Benneydale...Man, they looked and sounded magnificent as they went past!
Sigh again.
P.s. I heard there was a bit of a contretemps over the grasskhana?
Should have been sanctioned?
What was that all about?Last edited by johnboy; 03-15-2012 at 09:59 PM.

Cant say a lot,,but it hit the fan,big time,John..The paperwork was done,,and it appears that there was a very small error,so instead of reading again, and querying it,,it was sanctioned, minus the driving event..(grasskhana),,so when we all got out there,a certain person turned up to close it down..All I can say..for fear of a spy lurking, and brown nosing someone else..Blood was nearly spilt..believe it..You know how big Gary M is..and how slight the OTHER dude is..It went ahead, but no public was allowed in the field..and,yes,,the grass was nice and green, and thick, and damp,,and the F100 goes sideways,,real good...and round in circles too...Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

This morning I need to work on my sermon, run to the hospital and then to church for men's fellowship which ends at 9. Then need to run to Walgreens and get sr pics of my daughter, Menards for conduit to rewired my garage where I work on cars, and the put a bench seat back into my daughter's truck since we sold it last night and they do not want the bucket seats. I am supposed to help a friend for a couple of hours at his house before working on the electrical or painting my small garage. I need to do some work in the basement before people come over tomorrow to help with tile and wall repairs. I will need to finish my sermon by tomorrow night, so hopefully will get a good start on it this morning. I have somebody having minor surgery at 1 so need to clean up and go see him at noon. I need to talk to K State on financial aid for next school year and call the high school about an accident my daughter had in their parking lot because some idiot was parked illegally causing another girl to back into my daughter's car. I personally think the idiot should pay for the damage but I will probably get that honor. Anyway, I think that is about all for today so kind of have a slow day.

Sooooo Pastor - what do you do in your spare time??
You're an encouragement to us all - especially the servant's heart and the manner in which you tend to your congregation. They are blessed to have you as their shepard as you truly represent The Shepard. Now about that idiot in the parking lot.......

Got almost all of the office stuff done for the day. Got a rummage sale banner done for a church This afternoon I'm headed to our church to drop off 3 Easter banners & meet with the well & pump guy to see why the well seems to run short on water volume (@ the church). Then get paperwork going to find out why the shingles won't stay down on the worship center. Lot of church stuff all at once for some reason.
Then head to an equipment dealer to letter a personnel carrier. Then stop off @ my daughters place to play with the grand kids."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

I'v been to paul several times for parts.. Good guy, Good company. His wife can be so-so..
That actually reminds me, I got to throw the charger on the old Suburban to warm the battery up, and change the oil and grease it.. Still have to overseed and dethatch part of the lawn
Well anyway, not Friday, but I'v got some time off from work... Old Chevy is about ready.. Brakes were checked ( lines, shoes, wheel and master cylinders. all still L/N condition from previous rebuild ).. New exhaust. used the tail pipe for a late model somthing, but it fit near perfect. I have to hang the bumpers and make some repairs to the 2 center body mounts.. Pertonix kit fires the engine on the second revoloution and it runs like a clock... should be ready for the 1st local show in May if the new windshield gets delivered in time.. Still need 4 new tires, but there just a call awayLast edited by Matt167; 04-02-2012 at 08:07 PM.
