Happy Friday----Whatcha up to???
Still just waiting for the snow to melt and the temperatures to warm up around here, though the forecast does contain a prediction for a couple days next week in the 50's!!
Not much new here, ready to do some of the repaint on the Plymouth this weekend where I banged into it with a piece of tubing!!! Oh well, found a few other spots that were less then perfect so I'll touch them up to.
Think Spring!!! First car show around here is an indoor one on Easter Weekend....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

After a beautiful Thursday at almost 70F and clear skies spent outside chipping brush I'm sitting here watching snowflakes the size of quarters coming down with a vengence!! Got the headers off the '33, waiting to carry them to AZ next week, and the dash sitting on the workbench waiting for the knife for the three new AC ducts that got here Wednesday. Fighting a sinus infection that's trying to gain a foothold, so will probably stay in out of the cold todayRoger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Just got home from a New York road trip. So I'm playing catch-up. Cold and grey with a light snowfall last night.
Since I'm back to New York next week I will hang out with the wife as much as she can stand to have me around. Besides, it's still cold out there!

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

If my wife is able to pick up the rest of the tile order today, then I'll possibly do the one bathroom counter top and back splash. If not, I'm going to put the C4 tranny cast aluminum pan back on - provide the new bolts from McMaster Carr don't get lost between the local UPS terminal and me. And Roger - those sinus problems - I just finished a course in anti snuffle medicine - but don't think it worked as I'm still clogged like an old drain. Then - there's those 8+ inches of snow which litter my yardDave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

With all my friends having less than ideal weather conditions I almost hate to say it's already in the low 80s here and tomorrow I'm going to Walt Disney World Speedway for the 1st Annual Magical Rod Run. Should be a fun day, if not at least they have a nice event shirt.
The last time I was at WDW Speedway was about 9 years ago when my wife surprised me with a Richard Petty driving experience, that was a FUN day!
Hope everyone has a great weekend and hope my friend Roger feels better soon!!

I finally had to crank the lawn mower today and mow the ragweed, bull nettles and other assorted weeds because, after the horrible drought in Texas last year, there is no grass to speak of..

Another 30 minutes and I'll be back in the shop for an exciting weekend full of welding, fabricating, and all the fun stuff that I work so hard for during the day!
On the list: finish up the 2nd FI pump on the fuel tank and install tank to frame rails via rivnuts, mount new shorter column, TIG drives side header and get the passenger side mocked up, finish forward coil over mounts for IRS, open up fire wall another 3 inches up top for Whipple, etc etc.
Saturday meeting a fella from Springdale wanting to trade a 03 Cobra for the Road King.
Weather is perfect here! Hopefully the sun will be your way soon Dave!

Old Chevy quit on me as I was letting it warm up to back it out and get it ready. no spark now, checked everything. scratching head. But I'v got a pertronix kit on order with the matching coil on order. I'll get it running again.. It was tight, but I managed to pull the front seat back into place, put some things back togther and it's starting to come alive again... did notice a tag showing colombus Oh as the assembly plant and not Terrytown which for a car that came from Altamont doesent make sense. pic of the rear shows the dealer tag which reads " Westfall By Altamont ", which I know Westfall Chevrolet was on 119 park street in Altamont, now by street walking in google, I find it looks like apartments..You don't know what you've got til it's gone
