Road trip..........by plane
Off to visit our relatives in Flagstaff for a week. Always fun to go there this time of year. Route 66 goes right thru there, and there always seems to be a lot of rods traveling thru. This year we get to do a road trip to Gallup NM. Anyone who knows of automotive or motorcycle attractions, please chime in!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Love northern Arizona. Since your in Flagstaff, you need to take a drive over to Williams, which is about an hour west. Another cool Route 66 town, with tons of shops and memorabilia. In the summer, there are several car shows in Williams. Also, you can take the Grand Canyon train, for a 60 miles train ride to the rim of the canyon.

Mike this year I think the relatives are planning eastern trips! I have been to Williams before though. Nice area no matter which way you go, and thankyou for the advice. I'll see if I can sway them that way again! I think we will be passing through Winslow on the way to Gallup, though. I'd love to do the train tour, just have to convince wife to go!" Northern Arizona is one of my favorite "wanderin' " places; never get tired of seeing things, even the same things all over again.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.

In Flaggstaff. Love Windslow, have been on the corner and will be again if weather permits. The meteor crater was well worth the visit last year, and Another great trip was to the Lowell Observatory. We got a behind scenes tour of stuff, including a look at the cad drawings for a new telescope. This area is very neat for exploration. They say a big snow storm is heading this way this weekend, which may ground us here for a while. Thanks for all the great ideas!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

I think Jackson Browne actually wrote the song, but the Eagles did make it famous!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Steve,
We're in Mesa for another week, heading back to Kansas next weekend. Did the Scottsdale Goodguys last Saturday, but no other car stuff. Looks like we'll get a little rain here with snow in the higher elevations.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Big snow over the last 40 hours, around 53" on the mountain, at least 2-3 feet here! Not sure what we are doing today(head home tommorrow), but the wife is up early to go skiing. I'm more into taking it easy!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
