    I've never seen/read that term either. Maybe it's a regional slang that's common to the NE??

    Just shows that you guys don't know nuthin bout racin??????

    They are called divers to differentiate them from the top siders

    of course thats for crews with 3 or more guys

    I just want to know what they call the person who keeps the flowers on the hospitality tables looking nice???? I know that they call the Tuesday truck washer/drtailer Truck Driver----

    And owners either John or Don-------

    Just occasionally wonder if we were still active would the Army have sponsered us???? After all, I was the Soldier of the Year in 1964!!

    Well there's the problem! I never crewed for anyone, except for myself!

    And with all these divers and top-siders I'd have figured you for a navy guy! No wonder the army never sponsered you...

    Actually, usually we depended on me, John and the driver---

    at most of the west coast races there were two or three other buddies around, and they had crew shirts, and they helped, but not like todays doin's
