    Problems loggin in

Is anyone else having a problem getting onto this site?

My favourites take me to the "Home " page and I have usually just clicked the "Forum" box to go to the forums. Lately, clicking on "Forum" just takes me back to the "Home" page and I have to click on a particular posting, then work backwards to get to the "Forum" area.
I find this very annoying and time consuming. Thought it was just a temporary glitch, but it has been this way for the past week.

You try reentering the forum page as your favorite, things were messed up here this past week with a hacker.

Me too. Although at first, any thread I clicked on, would redirect me to another site entirely, but that site wouldn't load completely.

Here's some discussion and a response from Brent: uk/banksters..

Also, just found out I can't access the Forum tab to start a new thread.............not sure if that's a new problem, unique to my setup, or what?

That's what happened to me! Couldn't get access to the forum tab. Brent asked me which style I was using, (bottom lower left of screen) I changed from default to transparant and it worked after that, later went back to default. He also asked which url I was seeing when I got the error message, but I never got the error later! If you can get the error, grab the url for Brent!

Same here, I have to click the 'Forums' button, then go over to the right on that page, click the 'Quick Navigation' button, the the 'Forums Home' to get there....

Try changing the "style", after I did that mine went back to normal. In fact I tested all the styles just because it had been so long I forgot what they looked like! I now use transparent where I use to use default.

Thanks Mike, I don't get an error message, it just kicks me to the Home page. I'll have to see if Dave's trick works for me in the interim.

Edit, okay, didn't see how Dave's trick helped, but changing to transparent style seems to be okay. I'd avoided using that one as I found it difficult to read before when the new system was deployed. Gotta say, none of this helps with trying to rebuild interest in the site.................

Been trying to start a new thread for about three days now with no luck.
Forum just takes me back to the home page. Not to sure how RestoRod goes
to a existing thread then goes back some how to get to the Forum page, like that???

I'll agree with you but it isn't the fault of the site (this time!) Like I said earlier, Da_n hackers!

All I can tell the other guys having a problem - change your style, try'em all cause that's what I did and it fixed my issue here... I'm sure once Brent catches up, he'll check with you guys like he did me.

try cleaning out the cache and temp files. (Menu Bar\ Tools \ Delete Browsing History) or under the control panel, cleanup I think it's called. Then sign in again. It worked for me. I also changed from the default screen to either of the others for a little while and it seems to help. You can change the screen using the selector in the lower left. The transparent is pretty cool. As I said earlier , Da_n hackers...
