Had a bit of a breeze around here yesterday!
Here (I hope) is a link to some pictures taken by one of the local TV helicopters. The parking area shown is maybe a fifteen minute drive from our house.

I heard Bluff Dale mentioned while this fun and games stuff was going on yesterday.
I don't know whether it was used as a reference point or a place where one of the twisters was actually hitting.
Are you and yours okay?

Ah Jim, I didn't see this thread earlier today. Just sent you a PM but this pretty much answers that. Good to hear you didn't get hit directly.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Thanks for your concern, friends. I drove around "rubber necking" for a while yesterday morning and realized how fortunate (or blessed, if you wish) we are to have received no damage at all.
Our place sat nice and snug between two closely spaced bands of really hairy weather while some fairly close-by areas got their tails kicked big time.
Meanwhile Jane and I sat nice and snug in the damn bathtub.
It's kind of embarrassing really. While a lot of folks lost everything all we got was a nice half-inch spring rain.
...... Well, maybe it wasn't too nice. It got very dark and SUPER NOISY with plenty of lightning flashes to keep us from dozing off.
Thanks for thinking about us,
Jim
