Brother gave me his burn't up 89 Bronco.

My brother put his Bronco in a shop in Vegas about 2 months ago to have some stuff done. Anyway the guy that was doing the work didn't have a emmision test machine so he had this young Mech take it down the road to another shop to have it tested.
Any how my brother gets a call saying his truck burn't up. We'll I knew my brother was having a problem with his truck Vapor locking because when I was in town once he asked me to pick up his wife because she was stuck. I told my brother to go down to the shop and see if they had pulled the fuel line off the truck. So when he went down to look at his truck sure enough the clamp was loosened all the way and slid way back on the line. They tried to tell him it poped off. My brother said right!!! , and the clamp loosened itself too!!! The young Mech had a vapor lock and loosened the clamp to see if the fuel pump was working and turned the key. The gas hit the hot exhaust and fire appeared. HE! HE! Anyway My brother pulled the motor and gave me the rest,
The only thing that burn't was the wirring in the engine compartment. So I now have a wirring project, then I have to find a good used 351w to go in it. The trany is brand new, I think I made out like a fat rat!!!

Hope he got some compensation from the shop! Didn't they have both the full size Bronco and the mid-size Bronco II in '89? Assume this is the full size Bronco if it's a 351?

Yea, the Bronco II ran from '84-'90 ( Ranger based ), but the big Bronco ran to '96.

'88-'90 wiring harness will work in that truck, or you could cut it all out and stick a carb there
You don't know what you've got til it's gone

He had the full size Bronco that came with a 351w.
He had blown up that motor years ago and installed a 302.
If I put it back together, it will get another 351w instead
    of the 302 motor.
