Rodders Day Show... Tucson
This weekend we had our biggest street rod event of the year. I only attended the car show, but thought I would share some photos.
This year it was held at one of our casinos, since the Fourth Avenue "old town" neighborhood is undergoing the construction of a new trolley system.
I don't know the exact number of entries, but if you look in the background of these shots, you see a lot more cars. Enjoy.
The '38 Dodge "humpback" panel had a blown and injected 512 inch aluminum KB Hemi!!!

The Gremlin was 401 powered.... and the silver '49 Ford had a "Baby Hemi". :-)

The Studebaker Avanti featured the factory supercharger setup.
Not too many vintage A coupe left untouched!

The unusual black and yellow "Mercury" roadster had an original Model A Ford cowl. The rest of the body was designed and built by the owner!!!

Awesome photo's thanks and good to see good solid colours on the cars. Also thanks for taking photo's of the T's as I can never get bored looking at them. The Ram Rod Express has an awesome base colour as does the last photo.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Can I ask you if you were involved with the paint job on the '36 Ford Tudor, orange one, what colour is it and is it metallic satin or what? Thanks for any info you can give me. Oh and what are your thoughts on it applied to the body and pickup bed of my T Bucket with a gloss black chassis with engine and trans paint gold??

I didn't paint that one. It looked to be a solid orange base, with a gold pearl sprayed over it. Worked very nicely, in my opinion. :-)

I still like the T-buckets. To me they are the "chopper" of the car world! Stripped down... minimal fenders... a more extreme look... and the mechanicals out in the open!
A man was watching his wife as she prepared to fry sausages in a pan. He noticed that before placing the sausages in the pan, she always cut off both ends, threw them away, and cooked only the middle...
