Wow I guess that's why kids under a certain age can fly for free, sort of like coach class, or an aisle seating, guess we call that the wiper seats!

I'm sure that putting the kids in "wiper seats" would also require "wiping their seats" when the plane landed. I know that "seat" on the plane would make me fill my britches!!

Well, Robin, here's a little scoop on that craze http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hi-Riser_(automobile) You're right, that craze is kinda crazeeee!! LOL! No worries about scraping a bumper or dragging a muffler off, though....

I seem to remember seeing a video clip,of one of those things on the freeway, and it came close to falling over, every time the guy hoofed it,it pulled a small wheelie,,and came close to wiping out..As I said,,they would never be allowed on our roads,,thankfully..

Well, I don't necessarily disagree with you, they are downright silly! But I also think they are kinda funny & interesting to see. Like the article says, "cartoonish," which is true. They look like exaggerated HotWheels cars with the larger-than-life rims and wild paint jobs. They add variety to our hobby like rat rods, low-riders, etc and plus they provide a little niche market for those outrageous wheel manufacturers! Those rims cost way more than any of the cars they usually put them on!! Besides, I guess it's a way to draw attention to some of those gawd-awful 80's-90's Chevies & Buicks that are otherwise forgetable.
