what a day
got to spend yesterday at the ER
i was laying on the floor doubled up in pain. so i went to urgent care.
they thought it was an appedicitis attack.
after sonar and a CAT scan showed nothing.
it turns out i have a stress induced ulcer.
... after being at the docs for 10 hours.
i got to drive home all jacked up on morphine. (there was no one else to drive)
BTW morphine does not make you feel good.
not one of my best days.
but on the bright side.
i dont need surgery.
i must be getting old.
i have the 3 signs
dont like loud music
have an ulcer
and i have a AAA plus card.a hot rod is whatever i decide it is.

Well, no surgery is a really good thing! Sorry you had to go through such a day, which likely added to the stress that's causing the problems. Need to get that engine reliable so you can go for some long, soothing rides in the high country!!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Glad you don't need surgery. Hope the ulcer mends. I hate going to the Dr's office or the hospital! (maybe it's because I work at one!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Sounds like a good stop gap measure, Billy.
Find your balance..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Ain't it funny how age catches up with us. No problems until around 50 and then watch out. stress, work, fixing your cars, etc. plays hell with the whole body. Just take it easy for a bit and the ulcer should heal itself. I know because i've been there. Good luck.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Just last night I was sittin on the couch flippin channels thinking about this gettin old chit and how I sure would like to find a ride for this Fridays midget races
. Came across a movie with the "new" Burt Reynolds in it. Got me to thinking maybe this age ain't so bad, At least I can say I'm now better lookin than Burt Reynolds and Kenny Rogers.

Well ya got the re-loader set up and we all know that's a step in the right direction! Keep takin' it one day at a time Billy and remember, "the only thing that's the end-of-the-world is the end-of-the-world!"
Any fish in that river? I always find a bad day fishin' is better than a good day workin!!
