    Nascar at Darlington tonight!!!!

An old track that cars run 180 on, and try to go 2 wide on a track with 1 1/2 lanes!!!! Jeff Gordon has 7 wins here, Biffle has a couple...... Should be a good race!

Maybe a dumb question.Does NASCAR spray the tracks for traction like NHRA does??

Only in the pits, some teams dump Coke in their pitbox for added traction!

Yup, good race. Jimmie spent some time driving an unusual line for Darlington, must have worked good. Anyway, Hendricks got his 200th win so maybe after all the hoopla of this win we can start hearing some real racing news now and then...

Biffle keeps the points lead, but look our for Smoke, came in 3rd last night and right up there (7th) in points.

3rd after coming in with clutch problems for an extended pit stop, too! Smoke did OK in that last 50 laps, didn't he? Did I hear right that the Hendrix behind the scenes team had four semi trucks of special "stuff" that had been following the race team from place to place for a bunch of races to celebrate 200? Must have been quite a party for the Hendrix teams last night!

One thing I will really have to credit NASCAR and the Darlington track people with was the moment of silence prior to the race in recognition of Carroll Shelby. A classy old track like Darlington comes through with another class act!!!!!

I'll betcha the Hendricks party was a good one last night!!!! 200 wins at this level of competition is one heck of a milestone, I'll have to give them that even though they are a chebbie team..... I suppose it was fitting that Mr. Five Time was the one to do it!
