Hey,kool to see our little country being looked at from up in your neck of the woods..It is a very nice part of the country for a rod run,cruise,whatever..Its where I used to live,in that locality,anyway..I have seen that clip before, and I never get sick of looking at the scenery around there,...Thanx for putting that up..(Wish we were there for it too..Redneck and Mrs Redneck were loaned a T bucket for the event, and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves..)Micah 6:8

Thanks for the compilments..I think we take our little country for granted sometimes..We do have some nice scenery down here, and it can be very diverse,too..It can change dramatically in the space of 30 minutes driving..Car wise...we have some nice stuff here too,,and some real hardcore rodders..I think, being so far away from the mainstream rodding(USA),makes us more determined to crank out some nice machinery..For a long time, the bodies, etc, that are available to you guys, have been out of reach to us,but a good exchange rate, and relaxed import restrictions have changed things..And,,,having a few Kiwis living up there has also helped in buying stuff,as a lot of companies dont want to go through the hassle of shipping down here..
As I have said before...anyone who wants to escape your winter for a few weeks/months,dont be shy..When Jim Shelton was down here from Vegas,a few years back,he got the royal tour,,and saw a few closely guarded secrets, that even some Kiwis didnt know about..Last edited by lamin8r; 05-14-2012 at 01:06 PM.

Loved the video! Looked like a great time for cruisin' and a great collection \ gathering. My perception is no one really worries about reproduction bodies or parts.. Since a couple were in the video.. It doesn't matter, it's just a perception and I'm probably wrong! LOL..
In any event, the cars in the event and the builds we get to see here, there are some amazing rides there and if it wasn't for the plane ride, I'd probably be there already!
Looks to be a beautiful place in the world.

Here's a link to Hot Rod Revue's home page.
Click on the various issues to read the e-zine and to look at the pictures.
It's very cleverly done!

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
