2012 Salute to American Graffeti Days Car Show

Well yesterday was the annual local car show here in P town. Pretty much the same cars as every year, corvettes, cameros lots of 50's chevy's a hand full of 32 Fords, etc.
What did stand out this year, and much to the slow education I have recieved from all of you were a few unique customs. I met a guy named Norm Armstrong, who really made this year's show for me. He had a handmade(by him) all aluminum and stainless steel bathtub roadster powered by a german Capri 140ci 4 cylinder engine. He was tickled I was interested in his project and shared a bunch of info and stories. I got the feeling this guy has been around a long while in this sport. So here are a lot of pictures of his roadster, which he states "goes about 160 mph". I asked if he built it for Bonneville, and he said yes, but showed me another project that he was building to race there first. Very cool fellow. If any of you have heard of him, please let me know. He's an retired machinist. He told me he's been building this car for the last year and a half, 5 hours a day, every day. He was particullarly proud of the perfect fit of his doors. Everything you see he fabricated.
