Thread: Prayers for my Son needed !

Just spoke with my oldest son and he told me that they went ahead and admitted him so we're headed that way as soon as we get dressed. At least he's still got a sense of humor because when he texted his brother, all it said was "they're putting me in the Hospital and my room number is 428, if anyone cares?" hahahahaha - - -he knows better than that but he's probably alone and scared right now.
I'll update this when we get back and thanks again for the prayers,
meller and family.

Update:
We drove down to see Bo this morning and he's in a lot of pain at the base of his skull, nauseated and sick to his stomach because of pain pills and all the other stuff they've been running him thru but his color, speech and eyes seem normal. They did an echocardiogram while we were there and this morning's MRI showed nothing along with the catscans and other tests they have run in the last 24 hours.
There is a Cardiologist coming to visit him this evening and a Neuro-Doctor later.
He has been having blackout spells and horrible headaches for some time now because of an accident he had while horseshoeing. He was in a muddy lot and the paint mare couldn't stop and ran into him, knocking him about 40 feet in the air. I'm not a doctor but I personally think that his problem lies somewhere at the base of his skull where the injury occured. Sadly enuff, it would probably be easier to fix a heart problem that something in the spinal cord at the base of his skull. Now, he's afraid to even drive again until this is solved and that's gonna put a huge bind on him and his business. They don't have any insurance either and I don't know how long they'll keep him in the Hospital under those conditions.
His wife said that she would call us as soon as the Cardiologist left and let us know if anything changes or happens.
We have already closed on our house and are due to close on our new house on Tuesday so I'm carrying two buckets and they're both overflowing but "I can do all things thru God who strengthens me"- - - If the old bod will just hang in there ??? LOL
Sorry to be so wordy,
meller.

Having been through the neck injury thing, I know how rough that can be.... Hopefully it's not anything real severe and Bo is able to fully recover from his injury. The prayers will continue!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Bo still has his sense of humor however:
Last night his Mom (my X) saw a scar on the top of his head and asked if it was from his falling against the trundle bed when he was young? He said "No Mom, this one over here is from the trundle bed that one was from a whiskey bottle !" LOL
Then while we were visiting him today he was telling about trying to dial the phone yesterday and couldn't and Sherry said "you couldn't even dial 911?" and he said "Hell, I never thought about 911, I thought I was dying so I was trying to call my family and kids and tell them I loved them before I cashed it in !"
I told him that none of those phone calls were necessary because we all knew how much he loved us ALL !
Thanks again for all the support and prayers,
meller.

Thinking about and praying for you all - You've already blessed and touched the CHR gang with your attitude and faith my friend. Please tell Bo the prayer cover is up and we've got your back!

Thanks Y'all, don't think for one minute that we can't feel the Vibes and Prayers because they are there every time we turn around.
The latest MRI showed some damage and swelling around the nerves so they are wanting to do some kind of shot, either to the brain or spinal cord to give him relief from the horrible pain. Of course, then they will send him home and then he's pretty much on his own. Rrrmm, is experienced with similar pain and recommended physical therapy so maybe that plus some weight loss would be something to get after immediately once he gets home.
God Bless Y'all,
meller.
