Happy Friday----Whatcha up to???
Haven't done this one for awhile, always fun to see what folks are up to on a weekend!
We have a small carnival in town, set up in the street about 1/2 a block from the house so Lisha and Lexi are really excited about that!!! Grandma set up their little pool, so this afternoon a couple of the neighbor kids their age are coming over for a pool party!!!!
I've got a guy coming to see me late today that owes me a bunch of money, so Grandpa is looking forward to a "satisfactory" solution to that problem.....
There's a Car Show in Sioux Falls this weekend, doubt I'll make it though.... Trying to get some work done plus the girls have invited me to a picnic on Sunday afternoon---If I do the cooking outside on the grille!!!! How could a guy turn down an offer like that, huh????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks for the pictures Dave! Those are memories for sure!
As usual, no real plans set in stone... Need to finish a yard project I started weeks ago, involves digging in the dirt / rocks.. 8-(
And need to work on the car so I can go for a ride if the sun ever appears!

Gotta cut the grass before she who must be obeyed gets home from her trip on Sunday night.Gotta get over to the hospital and visit/yell at the oldest (36) who crashed his stunt bike .Gotta cut and trim the weeds @ the shop, and if there is an xtra minute want to shape & weld some more sheetmetal for the coupe. And almost forgot, gotta rebuild the oil pump in the youngest's (22) Harley chopper then hold his hand while he's putting the engine back in the frame .Last edited by HWORRELL; 06-08-2012 at 12:49 PM.

Just buttoning up my battery relocation project. Built a little support box & hold-down, and it all tucks in behind the upholstery panels, but accessible by pulling the panels which are retained by velcro. So far it has started within the first or second revolution!!Roger

Thanks for the pics and the smile - - - they are soooooo precious and you are a lucky man !
As far as my agenda, we are still unpacking, putting things away, fixing what don't fit our way of doing things and I'm desperately trying to come up with a proposal for a work shop/tool storage building that butts up to my covered car port slab. Gotta run it by the HOA committee on the 19th and then get bid on putting in the floor, stud walls and roof and then I'll do the rest.
Have a great weekend Y'all,
meller.

Roger---Since you are close to KC will you go to the Heartland model car show at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park on Sunday---tell them that you are me and sign autographs, pose in pictures????I can't make it as my Mother in law is getting away from the hospital for a few hours and I don't have all the sub floor down in her dining room/front hall way----
Just kidding---but if you were to go---look up Bill Davis--he has just completed a scratch built 1/16 of my front engine dragster that looks very good-----

Early Saturday afternoon,here..about to have lunch..Had a small tidy up in the car shed,Threw some grease into the front suspension of the F100,,stacked up some firewood inside for the coming few days,Squeeezed the roadster body in behind the F100 for a short time,as I need the space in the workshop..Cos I have two more T buckets to lay up for a special customer in Wellington, and have the Toppolino body off one of the older AA/Altereds here, which is getting a rebuild, and rectifying some HORRIBLE workmanship from earlier days.....plus,the inevitable truck parts, and a 32/5w coupe which is progressing too..Have had to hire a helper,as the work was piling up and I couldnt get through it all..Might have to go look at a bigger workshop space this week now.. After lunch??Dunno..gotta change a belt on the Fairmont..Would like to mow the lawns this weekend, but the weather has turned to crud again...And,yes,,I'm gunna sit on my butt for another half hour after lunch ..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

Friday working from home, WFH as they say. The weekend sunny skies invites HotRod drives, doing some body work on the wife's truck. Feed the birds, check the grass would not want to cut it to soon. The temperature goes up the grass slows down and I like that, digging the time off smiling.I have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it

My weekend over tonight(thursday and friday off this week) Spent it mostly keeping house up. Full day gardening yesterday, and pressure washed house today. Got paint the siding this summer, and redo some touch ups on the wood windows. Did some errands too.
Love the pictures of the girls Dave. Sounds like some fun times ahead! Thanks Grandpa for sharing with us. My dogs(really my kids) got a walk and played a little fetch today!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
