They just never seem to work out for me.....Now I've got to spend the rest of the day convincing myself it's not Monday!!!!!

It was fun with a small business. Productivity for a split week sucked. Whenever a holiday fell on Thursday it just made sense to cave in to a 4 day holiday weekend..............nothing worthwhile ever happened on that Friday between, and the crew morale benefitted from the long weekend.

I always loved it when holidays came mid week. longer holiday for the self employed here also. Now I found an even better way however. I sold the damn business (after 31 years) the 1st of May and now every day is a saturday.

I don't know why it seems odd to me, every day is a weekend to an old retireded guy. But, yeah, yesterday felt like Saturday to me, and today feels like some other day besides Thursday.

I hope you're joking. It would make the point of the celebration point less. If they do anything, I say the make MLK day a national holiday. Half the people get it off, but not this guy. LOL
