    Racing Junk website

I have some odds and ends that I'd like to post for sale at Racing Junk as it does have a fair amount of traffic but for some reason always I have a problem even just 'wandering around' that site. Is it me or is it just not an intuitive website. Thousands use it - so it can't be too bad..... or is it?

I've always found it clunky to navigate................maybe you have to have a ponytail to get it.

Sounds to me like I'm dead in the H2O then as a PT will never grace my getting-shinier pate. Plus I had enough hair left for a pony tail, probably would do a massive comb over (nahhh - an engineer I used to have working for me had one of those)

Guess I'll just flounder along. I was hoping to get some insight and that I was doing something wrong.
(Just looked, they are only about 60 miles from me in N. Adams, MA.)

Pat - I wont use EvilBay except to Buy It Now. My last sale there was a '56 T-Bird O-D transmission, all the right numbers except that I no longer had the special chassis bracket (plus I had removed it from the wreck), The guy took me to the Ebay arbitration, claiming I was a cheat. I won, kept the trans, some $$ from his deposit then sold to the guy who had lost it by a couple of dollars

Maybe you need to talk to their Administrator about "modernizing" their website to a new format using up to date software That would get all of the "regulars" up in arms, I'd bet

Roger - are you trying to create (more) dissension in the rank and file membership?
Heck, if I can handle the challenge after going through it here, my RV site and Hotrodders and surviving, others can as well. Maybe some tears will be shed, teeth gnashed and some long time members might storm off in a huff ........ but that door does swing to and fro

    Dave,
I had not intended that, and was merely suggesting that sometimes pointing out shortcomings can result in format changes which brings all kinds of discontent. However, I see now that my comment could be fuel for the fire, and I hope that's not the case.

I like Racing Junk too, though it doesn't seem to sort or search very accurately. A lot of the ads get posted in the wrong area, I suppose that's the poster's problem though. It is slow to get around on, but for the type of items on there I guess it's worth it to me. I'm so lousy on a computer, I wouldn't know a good site from a bad site anyway!!!!!!

Possibly - but just think about my tooth nubs with three of my usual forums doing radical changes. Soft diet, liquid nourishment ...... back to newborn status in the eating dep't.

Its so bad around here that my wife is feeding me dog food----dog is so old and spindly that she won't eat the pet food so Robin gets stew meat or such at Cosco and cuts it up and cooks it for the dog---I get the same stuff----dog is doing much better and We find its also cheaper than the dog food stuff!!!!!!!!!!!
