Not much here. We actually got about 1/2 hour of rain a bit ago which dropped the temps about 15F, but the end result will just be higher humidity when the sun breaks through later. We've got a granddaughter staying for the weekend, so activities will be mostly centered on her.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I have a weather station use it to track whats happening on my piece of earth. It has been real dry for the last 3 weeks, monday that all changed we now have had 5.5 inches of rain. Mother nature dose a better job of watering, damn now I must mow.I have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it

Hanging around, trying to stay reasonably cool from the 90's temps
Daughter #3 and the 2 GC from Texas will be here through mid next week so I just try to stay out of the way of the steam rollers. The grand daughter (7, going on 15), first thing when they arrived wanted to sit in my '31 and make me promise her a ride, then pronounced it "COOL". My grandson (12) has Aspergers, a milder form of autism so tends to focus on things but not cars.Last edited by IC2; 07-13-2012 at 10:07 AM.

It's been nice here the last two days with rain and all.
We didn't do alot today though, plus I gotta break from
watering my Lucky 7 Pomegranate plants today, plus rose bushes
and a few other plants around. We gotta enjoy it why we can
because it' supposed to be back up around 110 by next week!!!

Well, I made it through another one without any MAJOR malfunctions; I tend to try to keep a bit lower profile than usual or 13ths that fall on Friday - some have not been too kind in the past. Suffering with the humidity, though, even if we are having a cold snap - it was only 105 at my house yesterday (Thursday) and about 85 today (Friday), but the humidity is in the sixties or higher. we just ain't used to that here; Tuesday it was 114 with 6% - hot, but tolerable to a certain degree.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
