Took My Buddy For a Drive
It cooled off a bit in the late afternoon, so Bones & I decided to take a little drive. He did fine, head on the window garnish molding, watching the scenery passing by and enjoying the breeze until I punched it and the decibel level increased a bit past his comfort zone He was OK once we backed off and went back to cruise mode....

Roger, great pics of Bones enjoying the wind in his face. If this is Bones maiden voyage, I wouldn't be surprised if his comfort zone increases with each additional ride. Before long he'll be barking at you to take him for a ride!!

Looks like he had a good time anyway!!!! Whenever anyone opens a car door around here, Pepper is ready for a ride! As a Cocker Spaniel he's a lot shorter then Bones but he sure does manage to stand up and enjoy the scenery anyway!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Yes, Bones stands 23" at the shoulder so he's a good fit for the '33. When we brought him home about four months ago he had always ridden in a kennel in the back, but I quickly introduced him to the truck and the Jeep when we needed to run a quick errand to town or go visit a neighbor. This was his second trip in the coupe and he was not concerned with the exhaust note on startup or driving out to the highway. He's become a faithful companion and likes to ride.Roger

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

They are cool photo's and Bones certainly looks as if he is enjoying it. Sadly Trixie, my new little Yorkshire Terrier who is smaller then the cats, doesn't like the car at all. And our Nelson being blind didn't enjoy the car either,so I have lucked out both times.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

My GSD used to ride on the back of whatever ute I had at the time,,in fact,he prefered the open air ride to inside..He got a bit carsick sometimes, depending on the road..Micah 6:8
