Hmmmmm, just as I suspected - - - just as many opinions and entertaining comments as there are odd parts on the Rat Rod. However, I do like the way he managed to use many farm related parts to form some of the functional parts of the ride especially the hames, pitchfork and tractor throne seats - - - - the udder and milking it comment from Robin was likewise creative. You know this is kinda reminiscent of some of the iron work sculptures that you see at various flee markets and resale shops these days.

That can be said about it, the usage of some parts are interesting, would this be a crap rod?

I knew a used car salesman his tag line "there is an ass for every seat".

I really think it was built for a farm tractor show. They will build anything to show off the old iron, and it's built from stuff that, much of it would be in the scrap yard or still in the field if it wasn't on this car, and that stuff is a part of our history. I don't think it was built to be stylish, but rather 'showcase' yesteryear.
    Kind of like this car

the difference between the 2 "vehicles" tho'... 1 is meant to be driven on the street and taken to shows / cruise-ins etc.. the second is hauled to a show and driven around the grounds once in a while...

    Big Difference!

The '65 Rambler American I had, was majorly worn out. Bearing where the column went into the steering box was bad and the box had a hole in it there. Trunions were majorly worn out, and it threw off the caster so bad, that the steering wheel would not return to center. I drove that for a month or so before I decided it had to go, and I sold it for what I had in it.. It stopped straight and tracked a straight line, but the engine barely pulled enough vac at idle to keep it running, and it burned a quart of oil in 400 miles
