Unfortunately much of Vermont is now populated by the progeny of the '60's drug and hippie culture that moved there to commune with nature. While there are still many nice, 'standard' American folks there, some, as you said, crayons may be their leisure toy of choice.

Hmmmm. It would seem that there is a segment of our population that still feels pot should be legalized!

okay guys,that is funny but oh so sad, did you read on that same page about the kid holding 5 people hostage when a robbery goes wrong, you have a highly intelligent guy go crazy with a gun in a picture theatre killing 12 people and you have your police force hassling a guy because he is carrying some pot. It will be interesting to know exactly how much pot was involved to warrant all those police officers. Reinforces my opinion of how stupid and time wasted on small crime our police are, that includes our police here in NZ too. Every person I have ever met smoking pot has mellowed out compared to what the reaction of most who drink alcohol.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.
