This car was laST TAGGED IN EITHE R2005 OR 07---HAS BEEN AT A FRIENDS SHOP(sorry cap lock) for a few years---I bored, honed, align honed mains , decked block, balanced rotating assy---he was going to do Edelbrock heads but stopped coming in--since then the shop has moved and it has set uncovered for about a year and now the shop is moving to a different location so it will have been stored in 3 different places---at least it wasn't sent down the street to the crusher!!!!!!!

Yes Dave its in nice shape--no rust--all original stuff
Roger and me have communicated about it but the pics I took were in my wifes camera---I took these today with my Canon but couldn't PM to Roger so am doing it this way--hope nobody minds--seems there weren't a lot of 401s built and they did run pretty good--didn't Dart get there start with these???????

Jerry,
Thanks for posting the pictures. That's a '73 which is a badged HP version of the 4-seat Javelin. I'm more interested in the '68 to '70 2-seat models that are quite a bit smaller, with better lines, IMO.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I have to agree with the 68-70 AMXs, but then I like most AMCs. The car looks to be in very good shape. Thanks for sharing.

I tried to buy one of these new, but the dealership would only offer me $150 dollars for my red/red '62 Biscayne, original 409 car. I walked.

Someone locally is driving around in one - haven't seen it close up yet, just in passing, but it does sound 'nicely' built and is very clean, at least at 50-50Dave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

Sad to think someone would just abandon a car like that." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Very nice n tidy looking beast..Havent seen too many of those down here..Probably only a couple,,though we do have a guy who owns three of the smaller AMX's,ones a builder, the other two are finished, one manual, the other auto..But that one's real kool...Glad it's not out in the weather..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
