    Did I Just Get Approval?

Yesterday walking around the Old Marais River Run with my wife, looking at the cars, taking a few pictures and talking to some of the owners my wife said to me, "Now if you build another car, and I'm not condoning that by the way , it has to be an automatic so that I can drive it home in case you're incapacitated or tired Seems to me that I just got a behind the scenes approval for another car, don'cha think?? All I've got to do is put up with a slush box, and maybe a back seat for grand kids

And BTW, our daughter who had twin boys in June 2011 announced an unexpected bundle of joy coming next April!! Maybe I need an old Suburban with two or three back seats, a Ford Mod Motor and an AODE!!

Can't argue that, Ken! Just thinking of seven grand kids wanting a ride , and Grandma wanting to go, too! I guess if we break them up by age it would be the three older boys, and the four little guys & gal(s?) which might be more manageable

I think that was a definate approval! Congrats on the new grandchild on the way, too. I think you could fit them all in this one too!

I was thinking more of a third (41-46) or fourth (47-55) generation, Charlie.

Roger, congratulations on the newest bundle of joy, if the family keeps growing you'll need a school bus soon.

I'm thinking Mama definitely gave you the 'go ahead' signal, it appears she's ready to participate with a little behind the wheel action. Here's an idea, build her the hiboy woodie you've been thinking about, build it a little longer, fudor sedan style with extra rear seating for the kids. A hot rod for you, a hot rod for Mama, double the pleasure, double the fun!!!

Now that's probably the right idea, Mike! Not sure if I can make room for a second back seat or not.... may have to look into that, or perhaps just extend the wheelbase a bit. This is getting into dangerous territory!! Maybe I just need to look for one of those stubby school buses like Johnboy built.

    ALL great suggestions:
First of all I would get it in writing (signed of course) and then even tho Nomads and Suburbans Rock, I've always thought that the "coolest Family Wag was a Nova - - - - but NOT with a Ford motor in it. Unless you want a FOMOCO Bowtie that is It is your build, eh????
I liked the 2drs best but they are almost impossible to find, at least I couldn't find one.
Oh, congrats on the new comer

Yes, a diffident green light on a new project. I like the idea of the early Chevy Subs too when done right, awesome. Hope all goes well for the Mum to be.
