Sat., Sept 22 was spectacular in Vermont at the NSRA show
I met up with Mike (34_40) yesterday for our 'semi-annual' wander of the Essex County Burlington NSRA Street Rod Nationals. The day started cool and clear then went to rain by about 3:00 (for a less then nice 140 mile drive home), but we had just about walked our legs to nubs by then.
Here are a couple teasers with the rest via Photobucket.
Mike, I hope you add yours as well when you get a chance:

Some neat stuff Dave.
That Frenzell with the twin plug Eelco heads makes that flatty one of the most expensive out there.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

Bob/Em - that car was probably the most unusual engined flatty of many there - you could buy the very nice '32 roadster as seen for $49K with that set up or $29K without. The rest of the car was nice as well - and even me as a long time flathead lover, had never seen that set up and will be doin' my homework.
I thought they were Eelco heads, but are ELCO and at about $2K/set plus the cost of a converted Nash dual plug distributor is WAY beyond my thin wallet ( https://oroscogroup.infusionsoft.com...l?productId=30 )Dave W

I have had a photo of that flatty for awhile in my library as I think it is so unusual and super rare. I would love to hear it running.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Great pic's, Dave. Glad you & Mike hooked up, and that you had a pretty good part of the day without rain. Hope the drive home was not too bad.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
