My little Jayden is n Arkansas Children's Hospital
Finally got the iPad to work on their network. Jayden was admitted on Wednesday with what we knew started out as a virus, to being unable to breath. After many trips to our local walk in clinic (because each time our doctor was unavailable) we were finally referred by another doctor to the Arkansas Children's Hospital since no one was making any progress diagnosing her problem. By the time we got here she had developed an abscess in her lower lung, covered by fluid, with a partially collapsed lung. After a chest tube, to drain her lung, a typical IV, and a PIC (another type of IV under her arm, through her vein to just above her heart for antibiotics). I know I can't tell you how hard it has been seeing my baby girl in this shape. They removed her chest tube this a.m. and her first IV saying she is doing much better. I cannot express just how impressed I am with Arkansas Children's Hospital, the doctors, and nursing staff. They truly embody what I would hope and expect out of a hospital that caters to children. I am seriously impressed!

Of coarse it is ok Dave. I've done my own share of prayers myself. Thanks so much. I've been all over this hospital. There are soo many children with serious trouble here. I feel so bad for all of them. It's heartbreaking seeing a 2 year old girl look up at me and still be able to muster a smile, knowing she is dying of cancer. I know what I want to do when time allows, at the very least when I retire, spend time with these kids. Some of these kids have no one here.
