    moving day coming up?

    now i've done it!
i've bought a new place in a small town, Hope,b.c. to be exact. now here comes the point of this ramble... a lifetime full of treasures\junk is going to move with me!
the place i'm moving to is 800 k.m. one way, so one of the first thing i did was buy a a really goog car trailer, 18' beaver tail. the first couple of trips will be just house hold
stuff. this will keep the little lady happy while i tram stuff too and fro!
the total cost for fuel and meals round trip hauling this way will be $600.00 . if i
do this with a rental van and trailer it is well in excess of $1200 dollars per trip!
since i am not bound by a must move by date i can take my time, total 7 trips if
i'm doing this right, i'm sorry a real man just can't sell all his toys. it might made me a little nuts trying to off load all my stuff but so be it.
the only thing thats bugging me a little is leaving all the hotrodding buddies here and
finding new one that are as afflicted with this horrible hotrodding ailment! is there a
place like a help line for affected hotrodders? i'll start a travel blog on this subject
when i make my first trip. will have to come up with some backgroung music for the roadtrips... will the theme from the beverly hillbillies work? any ideas?
