    NASCAR at Texas this weekend

Nothing left but Texas, Phoenix, and Homestead.... The chase is getting down to the end, and Jimmy Johnson grabbed the pole, Bad Brad starts 8th.

Yeah, Brad K needs to finish strong Sunday to keep things interesting. The others are pretty much out of it at this point, barring something weird happening.

I think it would be cool if Brad can do it, With the last and almost only Dodge.

Would be good to see him win another one, but, hating to wish bad luck on anyone, Johnson needs to have a really bad day......

Nationwide race tonight, watching a bit of qualifying now. The Nationwide cars are qualifying with lap speeds of 180 mph.....Fast, fast track!!! Should be another good race and the points chase here is just as tight as the Trucks and Cups classes!!!!

Well, I fell asleep in my recliner, missed the whole race!!!! So now I'm wide awake and watching the replay of the Nationwide race in Texas, and channel flipping to the Outlaw race in Charlotte!!!! This ought to really mess up my sleep schedule for a couple days, then add the time change in I'll more then likely go most of the week and not even be sure what day it is!!!!!!

Then maybe I shouldn't say that Kevin Harvick wins it?!?!? LOL..

The thing that got me was that the (then) points leader and # 2 in the points both have bad loose cars... one says what the heck and the other drives the wheels out of it!! OOPS.. there goes the lead and now are tied for first!

On another type of racing...............Allen Johnson needs only to qualify at Pomona to lock up the championship in pro stock. Been a long time since Mopar was king in pro stock.

Well, I believe the Nationwide points race is now tied with 2 races to go to decide the Championship! Should make for very good racing at Phoenix and Homestead.

Also watched the World of Outlaws at Charlotte, Big Block Modifides, along with WOW Late Models and Sprints all in 3 days of racing! Think I've got to make plans to attend that one next year, but then I'm sure I said that last year after watching the race, too! Young Ryan Blaney finished 2nd in the Nationwide race, his Uncle won the Sprint race at Charlotte, and his Dad races in the Cup race in Texas later on today!!!
