    God Bless the Children!!!

Today was my birthday, Lisha and Lexi helped Grandma decorate the cake. We had a (small) party and lots of fun....

Lisha is always asking me when I'm going to be able to build my car (the '57) so we can go cruizin'. I've been joking with here to go ask Grandma or Daddy for about $10,000 and we'll start ordering parts. Well, tonight after the Birthday Party Lisha and Lexi brought me their banks and said I should use the money for my car!!! I explained to them that I could not use their money for my car, and that I would have to use my own as they needed to save theirs for other things.

But, the thought was there! Two very unselfish children ready to give up their lifetime savings so Grandpa could build a Hot Rod!!!

I think I've discovered why the Good Lord blesses us with Grandchildren!!!!

Happy Birthday, Grampa. That's what it's all about.

They obviously think an awful lot of their Grandpa.

And that love/respect is something they can give you that's of much much more value than money.

Count your blessings mate...you've got a bucket-full of them!
