Good news
Long story short. About a month ago my wife had an angiogram. Doc said he found a small blockage & could fix it with medication. After a couple weeks it was apparent the medication wasn't working. Got a second opinion & doc. #2 after some test did another angiogram. He put in a stent. She is in recovery now. Doc. #1 - 1 month ago said the blockage was 20%. Doc #2 today said blockage was 70%. In the artery called the widow maker. DOc. also said anything over 90% in that artery & it's all over nearly every time.
I'm sooooooo glad we went to Doc #2 for that second opinion."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

Glad she's recovering !!!
Either my wife or I do research on whichever doctor we go to plus we both tend to 'read between the lines' as to what he says ( or as in many cases, doesn't )
Don't forget that the person who graduated last gradewise in college is called exactly the same as the first - Doctor!!Dave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

Glad you got the second opinion, and that she's recovering now, Pro. That junction called the 'widow maker' is not something to mess with, as it can change status in the blink of the eye and become critical. That first Doc needs to have his butt chewed by Doc #2. Want to really tick off a Doctor? Tell him that he's really just a systems engineer for one of the most complex systems ever developed. I did it once, and I changed doctors not too much after that when I accused him of churning the insurance system with his billing practices. Those guys are intelligent, but they still put their pants on one leg at a time, just like the rest of us do.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
