    Sprints and Midgets in Australia

     



    For those of us with snow on the ground and wishing it was race time instead, here's a little clip from Australia of some Midget and Sprint action on the dirt.... Looks like Cory Cruzeman can win anywhere he runs!!!!!

    Hmmmm...Speed Sport screwed that up a wee bit,Dave..That is Western Springs Speedway in Auckland,NZ..

    Yup,Cruiser is a wheel man and Kyle Larson ain't bad neither. And I thought they where @ Western Springs. Next weekend all those Americans plus some New Zealand and Aussie boys will be getting on the plane headed to Tulsa,Ok. for the Chilibowl !

    Hope our guys(if any are racing) do a good clean race of it..Seen footage of the Kiwi kontingent up there a couple of years back,,and seemed to do fairly well..
    Dont do speedway as often as I used to..Would love to spend another night at the Springs,when we have an international field..Love watching the Americans do battle with our guys..Its usually real good,clean racing..Used to watch Sleepy Tripp and co many years ago at the Springs,dicing with the Kiwis and the Aussies,,and the Aussies quite often got to fill the rear placings..
    Always had a lot of respect for your guys,coming down here and racing with us,,very nice mannered guys,who enjoyed themselves.. Hopefully,our newer generation of drivers,have the same respect up in your neck of the woods..

    One Kiwi,two Aussies??what?? no Pickens?? sad.. We did have some very good drivers............years ago....they all got old(er) and dont race any more..
