spreading the sickness
Ok, so my dad gave me the bug. I am passing it on to my 'baby's' grandson.
No, not a cold, THAT he gave to ME.
MODELS!
And, guess what. It CALMS him! HOLY COW, who would have guessed? Even his meds for ADD don't accomplish what a pile of die cast plastic pieces can!
Holy cow (again) he is looking forward to working on the real thing!
It brings to mind a discussion I had with my dad once.
I said to him that he had inflicted me with the modeling "disease" and it took me twenty years to kick the bug.
He replied, "The Hell you did, you went one-to-one"
.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Here he is.
Maybe he doesn't have a good working comprehension of what an intake manifold IS, but he now knows where to put it!.

Oh BTW:
Bonus points to anyone whom can identity the two ford powerplants in his hands. I'm not a ford guy, and the literature doesn't say.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
