Definitely not hot rod
Changing wheel brg. on 2000 Kia Rio. FWD tapered roller brg.Anyone know torque for brg nut???? All i can find is 2001 and up that is 150 to 200 Ft LB way to much for these brgs.Charlie

Finely found it
Tighten lock nut to 20 ft-lbs/27 Nm. Loosen nut
slightly until it can be turned by hand. Use spring
scale on hub wheel stud to measure bearing
grease seal drag. Add grease seal drag reading
to value of .6-1.9 lbs/2.6-8.5 N. Turn adjusting
nut slowly until specified preload is obtained.
After preload adjustment, stake nut in position.Charlie
