NASCAR practice
Just watching a bit of the pre-season practice at Daytona. The new cars look good, 100 lbs. lighter (60 of it off the right side) and the new design bodies. Nobody is running any terribly fast times, but the Crew Chiefs and Engineers will have a full night's work figuring out how to make them faster tomorrow!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Did they say anything about smaller intake restrictors? After some earlier testing and the high speeds for the first round of testing. It was assumed that NASCAR was going to slow'em down with less airflow.

Didn't hear anything today, most of the commentary was about the new body and how it was working..... 4 of the Toyota's went drafting the last 10 minutes or so of practice, running 195 mph consistently.... Tomorrow will have more drafting and groups of cars, so far the new car looks quite stable!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Sounds like the restrictor plates are the same size this year, at least so far! Things could change between now and race time if the speeds get up over 200 I suppose.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Wow dropping that much weight! Reminds me of the song "Time for me to Fly!"" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
