he graduated today from sub school. now on to machinist and epa certification school. i am so very proud of him.BARB

Congratulations Barb, and even more to Charlie! Subs are such highly engineered, complex assemblies you've got to be proud of anyone who takes the challenge to learn them, and then to serve on one. Thanks for posting the update!Roger

i am doing well. fighting the flu. still trying to sell the monte for my dogs surgery. looking hard for a great deal for another project. i am so very proud of charlie. he got to come home for the holidays. at first i thought that he had changed alot. but after a couple of days home we were staying up late together talking cars and watching star wars.BARB

i will tell him about all the well wishes and congrats. charlie he has 3 weeks of hvac school for epa certification the 8 weeks machinist mate school. then he gets assigned to duty station. hopefully norfolk.BARB

You have every right to be proud, Barb, it was young men like Charlie that made this country strong and independent and hopefully with their help it can be a great Country once again. My appreciation to him.

Barb, first tell Charlie Congrats, and "Thanks for his Service!" And also tell him to be very proud that he has taken on the sub platform. My uncle served in the Navy on nuc subs and this paved a great career path for him. My youngest brother is in the Marines and only gets to shoot stuff. No real technical jobs for him to move in, and it's real hard to change MOS's in the Marines.Ryan
